How to crack SSB interviews | Tips from best NDA institute in Lucknow

Hello students, I am back. I am writing on behalf of Warriors defence Academy, top NDA coaching in Lucknow. You all are preparing hard for written exams and some of you will crack them and would be called for the SSB round. There are several tests in SSB and I have already mentioned them in my earlier posts hence I won`t be discussing them here. I have specially written this article for the interview round which a candidate has to face in the last stages of SSB and is crucial in getting him in or out of the defence career.

I have outlined here the points which you must keep in mind while appearing for the interview. It is also much better if you make these qualities as a part of your life so you don`t have to enact them in an interview. The students at our academy which is no.1 NDA institute in Lucknow are encouraged to imbibe these qualities in their personality so these qualities become a part of his life.

Honesty: You must be brutally honest about everything you answer. The officers interviewing you are top notch brilliant minds this country has. So, if you think you can fool them you are fooling yourself. I know you have a genuine point. You will fail if you speak the truth but believe me you are going to fail surely when you lie so there is no point in falsifying information about yourself.

You will find that men with an honest background are strong, clear and straight forward. The defence career in Indian armed forces is one of the most respectable and honest professions in the country. Our students at our academy, no.1 NDA coaching in Lucknow are regularly exposed to the personalities of defence officers visiting our campus hence able to get what it is like to be an officer. Our selected students keep visiting and guide their juniors hence helping them to get selected and making us the best NDA institute in Lucknow

Confidence: Let me give you a very nice example of a man beaming with confidence. There was an interview going on for IAS candidates. The interviewer dropped a pen each time while interviewing an IAS candidate. Each of them knelt, picked up the pen and kept it on the table. Then there came a confident candidate. The interviewer repeated his procedure. The candidate saw the pen falling and resumed his usual business of answering the question. The interviewer needed to write something and he was pretending to look for his pen when the candidate called the peon standing nearby to pick up the pen and give it to him. He was selected.

Attention: You must listen actively to the person asking you the question and clarify your doubts regarding the question, if you have any after he has completed his question. When you are answering you must answer not only to the person who has asked you the question but also to the other officers sitting beside hence you can look at their faces too while answering the questions.
I would urge the students to see a movie named “Twelve angry men”. You will find the art of conversation captivating. You can learn many things from the movie if you have a sharp eye. The students at our academy which is no.1 NDA coaching in Lucknow are providing weekly sessions to improve their personality and hence communication.

Emotions: When I appeared for my second interview, I could not believe that I was appearing for an American company that I will work in an MNC. I decided that I must be honest and I emoted myself as if I am not answering an interviewer but telling someone my “Ram Kahani”. This is very dangerous. Nobody in Indian defence would want a fool like me. Anyway, never get carried away while answering. Be in complete control regarding what you answer and make sure that it is necessary.
Practice: A good way to practice interviews is first by observing various powerful personalities how they answer the interviewer. Take Mr. Amitabh Bachchan for example. Notice his expression while he listens and then answers even the trifles with a very polite and courteous manner. You will get a sense of how powerful his personality is. There are many other interviews you can find on Youtube.  You can repeat the process as an interviewee with some either your friend or someone your senior.
Fluency: Your flow while speaking must definitely be uninterrupted. If you have too much problem in English you can opt for Hindi and answer those officers properly. But I would suggest that you must practice perfecting your English. You will be advantageous in many tests as well as in an interview. Remember some of the officers might be from North-east or South and they will understand English better than Hindi hence you may get overlooked by them if you speak Hindi since they do not understand it.

The students in our academy, top NDA coaching in Lucknow, weak in English are given special remedial English classes apart from their main courses to help them get confident with English and their selections consistently making us no. 1 NDA coaching in Lucknow.

Be yourself: If you want to do well in the interview you would have to do best and it can come only when you are yourself.  Trying to be something you are not will be making a joke in the eyes of the officers interviewing you. Never pretend. Be straight forward, short and polite as much as possible while communicating your thoughts to the interviewers.

Avoid being serious more than necessary: No sincere candidate would consider the interview a place of humour but you must not take the interview very seriously.  Well, I know it is something that makes a considerable difference but does not make all the difference. If you have done well in previous rounds their score will come to your help in the final result hence you must consider it lightly. The best performance comes when you are free of the pressure of any target and

responsibility. Be yourself and enjoy the interview. Be impartial. If you have the capability to be an officer nobody can stop you this year, if you do not have it there is always the next year.
What I have outlined above are very simple facts and do not seem like a tip at all but remember as simple as they seem they are very hard to follow when the interview goes on. The tip to beat the interview is not just reading it but following it and successfully using it in your interview. I will be continuing more about SSB interviews in my next article.
Thank you.
